Shift Lead- Part Time

Our Shift Leads help run the daily activities of the Swim Instructors and adhere to the Big Blue Swim School standards. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills and we will provide all necessary training for lesson and pool related responsibilities.
**No previous swim experience required- we will train you! Shift Lead Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Swim Instructor in classes, learning and executing curriculum for quality swim lessons
- Work on pool deck to supervise safety, swimmer progress
- Conduct daily monitoring and review of instruction and student progress
- Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to provide status updates and a high level of customer service
- Enforce all safety procedures
- Ensure efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, etc.
- Assist management team in running shifts, opening and closing facility
Shift Lead Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess the ability to communicate and respond to student and customer interactions
- Desire to work with children and help them grow and succeed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Will train for lifeguard, CPR, CPO certifications
- Ability to work on weekends (1 day) and weeknight evenings
