What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead position at Big Blue Swim School?

Our Shift Leads help run the daily activities of the Swim Instructors and adhere to the Big Blue Swim School standards. We are looking for candidates with strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills and we will provide all necessary training for lesson and pool related responsibilities.
- No previous swim experience required- we will train you! Shift Lead Responsibilities :
- Serve as a Swim Instructor in classes, learning and executing curriculum for quality swim lessons
- Work on pool deck to supervise safety, swimmer progress
- Conduct daily monitoring and review of instruction and student progress
- Communicate with parents / customers on a regular basis to provide status updates and a high level of customer service
- Enforce all safety procedures
- Ensure efficient building operations including cleanliness, water quality, etc.
- Assist management team in running shifts, opening and closing facility
