What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Associate position at Big Blue Swim School?
At Big Blue Swim School, we care about creating big moments for our students and team. No previous swim experience is needed, as we provide comprehensive paid training and certification, including Lifeguard / CPR / AED.

- Teach children aged 3 months to 12 years water safety and swimming techniques using the Big Blue Swim School curriculum.
- Create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback.
- Ensure the pool area is clean and safe.
- No previous swimming experience required.
- Must love working with kids and having fun!
- Ability to work in the water for at least 25 hours per week.
- Ability to work a consistent schedule including evenings (3pm-9pm) and weekends.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
- Pass a background check and obtain Red Cross Lifeguard / CPR certification within 90 days (training provided).
- Experience in childcare, sports coaching, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
