Big Box Karaoke (BBK) is looking for a dynamic, hardworking, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House (FOH) Support. As an integral part of our operations, the FOH Support role ensures that all aspects of the guest experience run smoothly, from executing food orders to providing cleaning and dishwashing support, to bar backing. This position is the first step to train for a server role at BBK. You will be a vital part of the BBK experience, helping create a fun, efficient, and clean environment for our guests to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Food Tickets: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to guest karaoke rooms. Our menu is a simple one. You'll be responsible for cooking the food, plating it and sending it out the window for our servers.
• Room Maintenance & Cleaning: Support our servers and help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of karaoke rooms throughout the night. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking necessary supplies, and ensuring rooms are ready for the next party.
• Dishwashing & Sanitation: Clean dishes, utensils, and glassware quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the back-of-house area.
• Bar Backing Support: Assist bartenders with restocking, preparing garnishes, and keeping the bar area clean and organized. Help ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow FOH staff and management to ensure smooth operations and high-quality guest experiences.
• General FOH Support: Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed, such as greeting guests, taking drink orders, and helping with guest check-ins.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant, bar, or customer service environment is preferred but not required. Basic cooking experience a plus!
• Skills: Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, high-energy setting. Strong communication skills, a team-player attitude, and a positive, upbeat demeanor are essential.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy trays, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, late nights and holidays as needed.
• Attitude: A customer-first mindset with a passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences.

About Big Box Karaoke

Big Box Karaoke is a private suite karaoke restaurant and bar in Fayetteville. Located at 115 N. Block Ave., BBK is excited to bring a new experience to Fayetteville and all of Northwest Arkansas! We have seven karaoke rooms available to rent by the hour that will accommodate parties large and small, a common lounge and a bar. Karaoke room guests will get to choose from thousands of karaoke songs to sing with their closest friends and family, while getting all food and beverage served directly to their room. We have a full bar with several signature cocktails and a full food menu.
