**Responsibilities:**
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, specifications, and procedures to ensure food quality standards are met.
- Ensure freshness, temperature control, quality, and rotation of each buffet item at all times.
- Properly communicate with co-workers regarding buffet needs and maintenance, and answer guest questions knowledgably.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant and keep the buffet and work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
**Requirements:**
- Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time;
- Bending, reaching, and climbing stairs;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Walking in and out of refrigerated and freezer areas;
- Sufficient strength and agility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.;
- Good hearing, visual, and English speaking skills;
- Ability to read English and follow recipes accurately;
- Able to work with a wide variety of foods and ingredients;
- Good mobility of fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows;
- Able to work in a hot environment;
- Able to work with steam, hot and cold foods, and ice; and
- Good memory, math, and organizational skills
