**About the Role**

The Buffet or Prep Attendant is responsible for ensuring the buffet area is clean, fresh, and well-maintained at all times. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality service to our guests.

**Responsibilities:**

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, specifications, and procedures to ensure food quality standards are met.
• Ensure freshness, temperature control, quality, and rotation of each buffet item at all times.
• Properly communicate with co-workers regarding buffet needs and maintenance, and answer guest questions knowledgably.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards in the restaurant and keep the buffet and work area clean and organized.
• Adhere to uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

**Requirements:**

• Able to remain on your feet for long periods of time;
• Bending, reaching, and climbing stairs;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Walking in and out of refrigerated and freezer areas;
• Sufficient strength and agility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.;
• Good hearing, visual, and English speaking skills;
• Ability to read English and follow recipes accurately;
• Able to work with a wide variety of foods and ingredients;
• Good mobility of fingers, hands, wrists, and elbows;
• Able to work in a hot environment;
• Able to work with steam, hot and cold foods, and ice; and
• Good memory, math, and organizational skills
