Job Summary:
The incumbent is in charge of running the outside events including but not limited to the Big Boy Food Truck, Ford Field and catering aspects. Primary responsibilities are to ensure successful events through focused proper planning, processes and scheduling as needed. The incumbent shall also support completion of prep and guest service team member capacity until such events are scheduled.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Big Boy Catering – responsible for booking catering events. Communicates and meets with potential clients for future bookings, finalizes catering menu with the client, ensure proper staffing and set-up of event and supervises the event.
- Ford Field – Responsible for the direct supervision of the three stand leaders and all staff duties during the events. This includes recruiting and hiring for the season, training of staff, ensures proper scheduling for the events and has the ability to discharge.
- Food Truck – Responsible for the direct supervision of the food truck and all staff duties during the events. This includes recruiting and hiring for the season, training of staff, ensures proper scheduling for the events and has the ability to discharge.
- Enforces Big Boy recipes, food safety and alcohol service policies and procedures. Is responsible for following required paperwork procedures and ensures copies Big Boy Accounting and Levy Group timely.
- Responsible for product and food orders, accepting, storage, inventory and waste controls. Also, responsible for ensuring cleaning and sanitizing standards are upheld at all times.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
- When no events or catering events going on, will be responsible to help in restaurant designated by Big Boy.
