Summary
The Partnerships Manager cultivates prospective new public, corporate and community partnerships to generate volunteers, youth/families and program support. The Partnerships Manager manages existing partner relationships and develops and implements short and long-term marketing strategies within their specific area to ensure an optimal geographic balance of support. The Partnerships Manager recruits' partnerships for mentoring programs by driving potential volunteers to our regularly scheduled Big Orientation & Training (BOT) sessions or by arranging for a BOT to be held at the site of a corporate or organization partner. In tandem with the Sr. Director of Partnerships works to recruit and create local Leadership Council. This group will include members of the community who willingly advocate for Big Brothers Big Sisters, spread awareness of available programs, and engage other stakeholders in the mission of the agency.
Qualifications
Education/Training (or equivalent): Candidate will have a four-year degree or related experience.
Experience: Experience in volunteer management; excellent customer service skills, public speaking, staff coordination skills and ability to work with various teams
Skills / Knowledge: Demonstrated technology skills including MS Office, Match Force, desktop publishing and ability to design and write electronic communication.
Other: Candidate must have reliable transportation to travel to various locations throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate evening and weekend events and schedules.
