POSITION PURPOSE
The primary function of this position is to schedule and facilitate group activities for active matches at a minimum of twice per month; organize volunteer and learning opportunities; manage ticket donations received by the agency; manage the discount list for matches; and collaborate with the Family Resource Coordinator for special projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule, plan and attend all monthly activities, including the Match Appreciation Brunch, Summer Picnic, and Winter Carnival. Ensure a variety of activities aimed at serving diverse populations of youth.
- Collaborate with the Engagement and Events Manager to recruit and organize community volunteers to help facilitate monthly activities when needed.
- Communicate upcoming activities, tickets and opportunities to all staff and matches via biweekly e-mails and mass text messages using specific software. Maintain the Bigs Only and Parent/Guardian Only Facebook groups.
- Communicate details of all match activities with the Administrative Coordinator to be shared with the Board of Directors and provide volunteer opportunities specifically for the Match Appreciation Brunch, Summer Picnic, and Winter Carnival.
- Gather RSVPs through Eventbrite, record attendance, and document any communication with participants within Matchforce.
- Maintain and expand discounts with community partners and communicate those discounts with matches.
- Manage special projects as directed by the Director of Match Support or Director of Programming & Innovation. These will include specialized group events for matches with Littes in high school, the Holiday Adopt-a-Family program, and a back-to-school supply drive in collaboration with the Family Resources Coordinator.
- In collaboration with the Director of Match Support, build and monitor the annual budget for match activities.
- Work with the Grants Manager to ensure deliverables included in grant agreements are tracked, documented, and provided in accordance with reporting requirements.
- Support, and collaborate with, other departments, including program, development, and Mission Support, along with the agency’s Employee Development efforts, to accomplish organization goals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Match Support or Director of Programming & Innovation.

EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
One of the following:
Education Level: Minimum Bachelor’s degree
Related Work Experience: Event & activity planning experience preferred. Understanding of child development and family dynamics helpful.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
15-20% of the time will be spent on travel in the service area. Must have a car, valid driver’s license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums; Routine office environment; Flexible work hours to meet customer and agency needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
