Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast is seeking an outgoing, experienced Fundraising professional in CollierCounty to inspire community support of our mission in the role of Director of Community Development . BBBS Sun Coast is an Agency that promotes the mentoring relationships between Bigs and Littles for the purpose of igniting the potential in each child served.
The Director of Community Development is responsible for expanding and driving fundraising strategies to increase donor acquisition and retention, foster collaborative partnerships of sponsorship and volunteer opportunities in the Naples area and remainder of Collier County . The successful candidate will cultivate and steward major gift donations, ensure agency excellence in volunteer recruitment and numbers of children served, and serve as the main staff liaison with the Community Board Chairs and Board members to lead efforts with maintaining and increasing financial and volunteer support from individuals and organizations. This role will support the development activities in Collier county as they arise.
Candidates will need to live in the Collier County to best support the activities and develop the relationships for success of this role and the agency, overall.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive and lead development and volunteer resources in the Naples area and Collier county
- Cultivate and steward major gift donations and sponsorships
- Ensure agency excellence in volunteer recruitment and numbers of children served
- Serve as the main staff liaison with the Community Board Chairs and Board members to lead efforts with maintaining and increasing financial and volunteer support from individuals and organizations
- Leverage community support to engage future Community Board members
- Attend key Community meetings and activities to build relationships and promote the branding of the Agency
- Maximizes the use of technology for donor datamining, cultivation, and solicitation, and stewardship
Skills and Qualifications
Must have valid driver's license and insurance, and dependable personal transportation.
