Our General Managers are positive leaders with top notch communication skills to oversee all store operations, motivate and guide employees, and to ensure that we provide an outstanding customer experience.
- The General Managers oversees all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, makes employment decisions and trains employees.
- The General Manager develops and maintains the atmosphere of the restaurant in all areas consistent with branding and fosters an inclusive and positive work environment.
- The General Manager implements corporate initiatives and achieves stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- The General Manager builds sales, generates profit, and controls turnover.
Required skills and qualifications to be a General Manager with big Burrito Restaurant Group:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Able to pass a background screening
- 3 years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions
- 6 months of experience in a management capacity
- Knowledge of service and food and beverage
- Possess excellent basic math skills
- Able to operate a terminal or POS system
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
Physical requirements for General Manager with big Burrito Restaurant Group:
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours)
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds
