Big Bus Tours is the largest operator of open-top sightseeing tours in the world, providing sightseeing tours in 23 cities across three continents including our newest location in sunny Los Angeles, California! This is an exciting opportunity for you to create something very special as you will be part of the post-Covid opening team and be involved in reestablishing the operation and infrastructure of the business
Big Bus Tours Los Angeles is looking to hire customer service representatives to join our BIG team. The mission of a Customer Service Representative is to excitedly promote city exploration by selling our world famous hop-on, hop-off and Celebrity Homes and Lifestyles tours. To be successful in this position you should be friendly and enjoy working with the public. Be strategic and creative when selling. Have an understanding of our tours and be able to communicate effectively with the public. Prior sales experiences is a plus but not required. If you love meeting new people and are ready to launch or continue a career in tourism, then this is the job for you.
Key areas of Responsibility
- Report on time as scheduled in required uniform
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Accurately process all monetary transactions and voucher redemptions
- Adhere to all company policies and local selling regulations.
- Maintain a safe environment for customers and other team members
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately per company policy
- Carry yourself in a professional manner, as you are a direct representation of Big Bus Tours.
- Maximize company revenue through appropriate upselling of our core packaged products at our Visitor Center and our on street locations.
Experience/Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Legally able to work in the United States
- Sales experiences, strongly preferred
- Speak and read English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signals, respond to official questions, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.
- Walking/Standing most of the 8 hour shift
- Must be willing to work outside at different tour stop locations throughout Hollywood
