The following job description details the scope responsibility and specific areas of responsibility regarding the Golf Cart Attendant. The Head Golf Professional, Assistant Golf Professionals, and Outside Staff Supervisor have the authority to add to, take from or otherwise change the scope of responsibilities, as he/she feels necessary to properly manage the day-to-day operation of the Big Canoe Property Owners Association (POA).
- Greet all Property Owners, Members, and Guests and provide the best service possible.
- Assist customer with golf clubs on and off golf carts.
- Be knowledgeable of all golf policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of outside area around clubhouse.
- Stage golf cars in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Maintain cleanliness of golf cars.
- Set-up and stage golf cars for all tournaments.
- Notify mechanic of any golf car with mechanical issues or damage.
- Organize and stock golf cars with scorecard, pencil, sand, and towels.
- Maintain an organized and clean practice facility.
- Pick up, clean, and stock practice facility with range balls.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly bag room.
- Clean clubs of all customers as they leave/arrive staging area.
- Receive bags into bag room, tag, and organize in assigned stall.
- Re-spike and clean golf shoes.
- Wash, dry, and fold cart towels.
- Discard trash from the barn, golf shop, and practice facility into dumpsters on a daily basis.
- Take care of (cart barn cat) including litter box, food, and water.
- Must have a valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Must display a neat and clean appearance in accordance with POA Policy.
- Must display a courteous disposition at all times.
- Must be available to work Weekends, Holidays, opening and closing shifts.
- Must be capable of lifting boxes and golf bags with weights up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, opening and closing shifts.
Must be authorized to work in the US. This position does not pay any relocation fees.
