POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee and manage lifeguards and attendants. Provide safe, clean and friendly waterfront environment for members and guests while adhering to Red Cross Water Safety and POA guidelines

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safe environment for all waterfront guests
Enforce rules and regulations as defined by the American Red Cross and POA
Assist the Pool Supervisor with staff scheduling
Provide a clean environment
Provide high level of customer service as outlined by the POA
Pool water chemical testing and balancing
Provide first aid

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
CPR/AED certified
CPO Certification recommended
American Red Cross Water Safety certification
CPR/AED certified

SKILLS
Must possess excellent leadership and communication skills

EDUCATION
High school/GED equivalent preferred
EXPERIENCE
Previous lifeguard experience required
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be of good health as this position requires outdoor work in possible extreme conditions
May require moderate to heavy lifting
