The Cook 2 position is a mid-level position that works multiple stations normally consisting of Saut, Pastas, or Hearth. This position requires attention to detail, follow through, and the ability to multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focus, and productivity.
Duties & Expectations
- Sears and temperatures of fish are perfected.
- More service awareness and communication, a strong observer and facilitator of tickets during service.
- Techniques and recipes are more complicated, understanding fully - Hydrocolloids, Braising, Blanching, Sauteing / Searing, Roasting and Purees.
