Big Chief Tire is looking to hire an experienced and proven people leader and manager for our Normandy location.

The staff at Big Chief is loyal, with an average tenure of 5 years. We are currently looking to add an Assistant Manager to the family at our Southside location.

Job Responsibilities include:

· Creating a positive store environment for all employees you oversee

· Assisting in opening and closing the store daily

· Assisting in managing all customer interactions with a customer-first approach by owning the customer experience. Make sure we are preaching and delivering the two core values that most directly affect our customers – “We say yes” and “We make it easy”

· Serving customers by evaluating their vehicles and making recommendations based on their needs

• Assisting with the management of store payroll in correlation with the stores sales and profit, building an efficient team that can execute accordingly to help generate high sales volume in a fast paced, customer centered environment.

· Assisting in handling employee matters within the store. Regularly communicating with all employees and providing them with feedback and expectations is very important for development and accountability. Employee matters include:

• Assisting in the hiring process
• Developing employees for promotion
• Motivating an efficient team
• Coaching when necessary
• Disciplining when necessary

· Assisting and maintaining the tire and parts inventory levels

· Assisting in overall shop and office cleanliness

· Assisting in execution and accountability of store policies and procedures

· Assisting in leading the weekly safety and office meetings

Applicant Requirements:

• Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Regular Schedule:

· Monday - Friday 7:15am - 5:45pm

· We work 4 full days and will have a 1/2 day.

· No weekends.

Strong applicant will likely have:

• Proven management experience
• Some retail management experience
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to adapt to new technologies
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
