We're looking for a creative, analytical and experienced Staff Firmware Engineer to join a world-class team in Santa Clara (Hybrid).
This is a leading international semiconductor company building AI processors that are transforming vision, language processing, reinforcement learning and a lot more. The team is seeing lots of market success, and you'd be representing a company worth almost half a billion USD.
Key Responsibilities :
- Working in an R&D environment with CPUs, boot processes, UEFI, and other low-level system components.
- Develop and maintain firmware for industry-leading ML chips.
- Taking ownership of server standardization, updates and documentation.
- Collaborate with the internal software development team to ensure seamless integration.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of real-time operating systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.
