What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Commercial position at Big-D Construction?

We gather the best talent and put our team in an environment that encourages growth and offers endless possibilities for a better future. Currently, we have a Project Manager - Commercial opportunity based out of our Park City, UT office at a jobsite near Morgan, UT.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assumes accountability and ownership of the project
- Responsible for project safety and environment programs
- Sets up project reporting procedures
- Understands and enforces contractual responsibilities, contract documents and dispute resolution
- Ensures timely project completion through effective project scheduling, timely delivery of materials and efficient management of material and document submittals / approvals
- Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors their progress
- Negotiates, prepares, issues and executes change orders to subcontractors and prepares any revisions to original budget
- Prepares and issues monthly owner progress reports, schedules and cost reports
- Develops insurance compliance with site-specific quality control and safety plans
- Chairs and records project meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or other related field
- 8-10 years of related experience working on large commercial/resort projects
