Big D Floor Covering Supplies is a leading wholesale supplier to the flooring installation trade. We have locations in five States across the Southwest. We are in immediate need of a Counter Sales/ Warehouse Associate for our Vegas location (S Valley View Rd., and W Russell Rd). The ideal candidate is consistent, energetic and willing to learn. We work in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse/retail environment serving flooring installation contractors.
In this position, you will interact with and get to know loyal customers as well as co-workers. Additionally, you will assist with warehouse duties. It's a physically demanding--you'll be on your feet at a Sales Counter and in a Warehouse all day--but rewarding job.

Job Requirements:
- Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materials--single items weighing up to 75 lbs and pallets (utilizing pallet jack) weighing up to 2,000 lbs.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent (Ex: GED)
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States
Additional qualities considered an advantage:
- Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack
- Attention to detail
- Bilingual in Spanish
Core Job Duties
- Interacting with customers to take orders for products
- Assisting customers with technical questions about products
- Entering and finalizing customer orders
- Preparing and placing special order requests with our Purchasing Dept
- Pulling product from warehouse for customers
- Stocking products in showroom
- Cleaning and organizing showroom
- Assist the warehouse with overflow duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
