Big-D Construction has an opportunity for a Project Manager - Airport to join our team based in Salt Lake City, UT.
Essential Functions :
- Assumes accountability and ownership of the project
- Responsible for project safety and environment programs
- Sets up project reporting procedures
- Understands and enforces contractual responsibilities, contract documents and dispute resolution
- Ensures timely project completion through effective project scheduling, timely delivery of materials and efficient management of material and document submittals / approvals
- Negotiates and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors their progress
- Negotiates, prepares, issues and executes change orders to subcontractors and prepares any revisions to original budget
- Prepares and issues monthly owner progress reports, schedules and cost reports
- Develops insurance compliance with site-specific quality control and safety plans
- Chairs and records project meetings
