Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team. This position requires strong financial acumen, as the Office Administrator will be responsible for various accounting functions, including journal entries and reconciliations. Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including HR, Payroll, Business License's etc
- Perform journal entries and ensure accurate general ledger reconciliation.
- Conduct account analysis and prepare financial reports as needed.
- Utilize QuickBooks online, Excel, Shopify, and Bill.com for bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and bank reconciliation.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliation and tax preparation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably with a focus on accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, and financial report writing.
- Strong Proficiency in QuickBooks online and Excel is required.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable, and tax-related tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
