Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in fine dining and hospitality will contribute to the overall ambiance of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate catering events or special functions.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations while serving drinks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or fine dining setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of brewing processes is advantageous but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years old in accordance with state regulations.
