Big Daddys is a leader in towing and recovery in our region. We are looking for a hard working, capable person to join our team. We do not have openings very often for this position. We have a mix of local and out of town work, sometimes going out of state a few times a month. Check us out on Facebook.
No experience necessary we will train the right person. The operator must be able to learn how to safely drive a heavy wrecker, learn the process of hooking up and towing a semi truck, and then will learn how to operate a Heavy Duty rotator wrecker. Operator must be in good shape and able to pass DOT CDL physical.
This is a gaurenteed salary plus commission position for scheduled hours and overtime. M to F schedule with some on call at 25% (50 to $100/hr) Ability to be available a few nights a week can greatly increase the operators ability to make more income.

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy wrecker tow trucks to assist in vehicle recovery and transportation.
- Drive safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring proper securing techniques are used.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during towing operations.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical checks as needed.
- Maintain the tow truck and equipment in good working condition through regular inspections.
Summary
As a Heavy Wrecker Tow Operator, you will be essential in providing roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize core skills in driving and operating tow trucks to safely transport vehicles. While no prior experience is required, a valid CDL is necessary.
