This position is Full Time – Hours for this job are from 7:30am – 3:30pm Monday - Friday
JOB SUMMARY
Big Deal Outlet is a rapidly growing discount store & retail outlet with locations in Utah and Idaho. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for helping with receiving products into the system, shipping products to stores, running inventory counts, and purchasing products from vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintain load reports.
· Count and verify incoming loads.
· Use warehouse computer software to input, price, and receive new products into the system.
· Run reports to generate invoices for outgoing shipments to stores.
· Run reports to generate purchase orders for specific vendors.
· Write checks to vendors.
· Participate in inventory cycle counts, keep inventory updated and accurate.
· Run sales and inventory reports for management.
· Markdown prices on items when necessary.
· Set up discounts and promotions for store sales.
· Run a register for employee sales.
· Communicate clearly with other departments within the warehouse.
· Communicate clearly through email with store managers and vendors.
· Unloading of trucks in a safe and timely manner while using equipment such as pallet jacks.
· Staging trucks with product to be sent out, while using equipment such as pallet jacks.
· Willing to accept and work on miscellaneous tasks
MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
