Bar Manager / Bartender – Own Our Full Bar Program (Brunch + Night)

We’re a high-volume, nationally recognized brunch restaurant that’s made waves on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri, The Travel Channel, Cooking Network on MAX, and every local restaurant and hospitality show! — and now we’re building something just as exciting behind the bar.

We’ve had our full alcohol license for almost a year, and our bar service is up and running both during our legendary brunch hours and into the evening. But now we’re looking for the right Bar Manager to truly own and elevate the entire bar program — day and night.

This isn’t just about nights or cocktails. It’s about building a well-rounded, consistent, and exciting bar experience across both our busy daytime service and our growing nighttime scene.

What You'll Do

As a working bar manager, you’ll be on the floor behind the bar while also leading, developing, and managing all aspects of our beverage program. You’ll be the connector between our AM and PM shifts, ensuring quality, consistency, and creativity at all hours.

· Bartend and serve during shifts (both segments)

· Create and maintain seasonal drink menus that complement both brunch and evening vibes

· Invent and roll out weekly drink specials

· Curate the draft beer list and rotate selections

· Hire, train, and mentor bartenders and bar support staff

· Maintain high standards of cleanliness, speed, and organization

· Handle liquor inventory, ordering, pricing, and cost control

· Collaborate with our Marketing Assistant to promote bar specials and events

· Provide on-shift supervision and support across both service segments

· Floor manage certain shifts — opening and closing the restaurant, managing service, and stepping in so our restaurant managers can focus on their admin or take their days off

· Cross-train to assist with floor management coverage

Compensation & Perks

· While Bartending/Serving:

· $10/hr tips

· Meal Plan

· As Bar Manager / Floor Manager:

· $10/hr tips (when bartending)

· $21.50/hr for admin work

· $23 /hr for floor management shifts (opening/closing the restaurant, leading service)

· Meal Plan Bonuses

· Past employees in this role have earned $70K–$95K/year

What We’re Looking For

· 2 years of bartending experience, with a strong work history

· Lives within 30 minutes of Waltham, MA

· Open availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

· Able to work 5 shifts per week

· T.I.P.S. certified or similar alcohol certification

· High energy, leadership presence, and attention to detail

· A creative cocktail mind who loves dreaming up fun, unique, and memorable drinks

· Someone who knows how to set the vibe — from laid-back brunch to lively night service

· A leader who can build, inspire, and train a strong bar team

· A natural marketer and community-builder who can grow a base of loyal bar regulars

· Comfortable stepping into a floor manager role when needed, taking ownership of shifts and operations

· Proficient in Excel and liquor inventory theory

· Familiar with or experienced in using Toast POS systems

Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri: 8AM–10PM
Sat: 7AM–10PM
Sun: 7AM–3PM
Closed Tuesdays
