What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Surveyor position at Big Dog Solar?
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive company vehicle to multiple job sites to survey future solar project sites
- Do full assessment of the area, locate meter boxes, potential hazards, etc.
- Take accurate measurement of areas and roofs to prepare for install crews
- Take pictures of the job site and upload to the management system
- Fly a drone to take pictures of roofs (will train on this)
- Full-time, Year round work
- Required to climb ladders and be on roofs
- Performs other duties as assigned for the betterment of the Team & Company
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Provide and maintain a current driver’s license to drive company vehicles
- Excellent with mobile devices, taking clear photos, and using data tracking management systems.
- Excellent note taking abilities
- Comfortable on roofs and ladders
- Ability to work year round
- Provide and maintain a current driver’s license to drive company vehicles
