Lead Teacher – Toddler Program (Ages 1-3)
Big Dreams Early Learning Center
Are you passionate about early childhood education? Big Dreams Early Learning Center is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. This position primarily focuses on working with toddlers aged 1-3 years old, although you'll also have the chance to engage with children from 6 weeks to 5 years old. Flexibility is key, as there may be times when you'll need to help cover other classrooms as needed.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
• Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through developmentally appropriate activities
• Assess and track children’s developmental progress
• Collaborate with a supportive and dynamic team of educators
• Build meaningful relationships with children and their families
• Assist with coverage in other classrooms as needed, working with various age groups
• Help organize and create engaging lessons for our new gross motor room, supporting children’s physical development

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• A passion for teaching and working with young children
• Ability to maintain a calm, organized, and nurturing environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in early childhood education, especially with toddlers
• Creative approach to lesson planning and problem solving
• Experience or interest in gross motor development to assist with creating lessons for our new gross motor room

Nice To Haves

Must Have:
Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field
At least 3 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, especially with toddlers
May consider a CDA so long as CDA is active
