Big Fire Law & Policy Group LLP is seeking a Paralegal to join our Winnebago, NE office. The work requires professionalism, initiative, accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits. Regular working hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Duties:
- Assist with client communication and organization of client files.
- Assist attorneys with general corporate and business transactional matters.
- Prepare and manage litigation documents, including declarations, motions, orders, and organization of exhibits.
- Assist with research, including analyzing rules of civil procedure and local court rules.
- Maintain attorney schedules and calendars.
- Provide billing/invoice processing support.
- Coordinate internal resources and review various documentation to obtain necessary information for document drafting.
- Manage client assignment and project management matrix.
- Design, proof, and format legal documents and filings, including basic drafting and extensive revision by following written and oral directions.
- Draft correspondence and contact third parties via telephone, email, and letter.
- Open, clos, and maintain organized hard copy and electronic files.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies.
- 3-5 years minimum legal experience.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, Adobe Acrobat and
Cloud based software solutions.
- Excellent proof reading and editing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, detail orientated, results driven with exceptional analytical skills.
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- Native American law experience.
