Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting bicycles and beach services equiptment from our warehouse to various locations between Miramar Beach, FL and the west end of Panama City Beach Florida.
Under new ownership, Big Fish Bike and Beach Rentals prides itself on quality customer service, attention to detail, and consistantly meeting and exceeding the expectations of our guests.
As a small, family owned and operated business, our staff have the opportunity to recieve hands on training and learn new and exciting skills that extend beyond delivering bicycles.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently transport products to customers for scheduled deliveries
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip bicycle and gear inspections
- Diagnose and perform repairs as needed for existing reservations
- Knowledge of the area and various rental properties a plus
- Communicate with Warehouse regarding delivery status and delays
- Follow traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
- Warehouse duties including (but not limited to) bicycle repairs and assembly
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading
- Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented
- Familiarity with using GPS devices or navigation apps for efficient route planning
- Experience with warehouse operations is a plus
