Mover/Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Movers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible, under the supervision of a lead/driver, for assisting with moving, packing, wrapping, inventory, and transport of household goods and/or commercial equipment for residential and commercial customers. You will help in ensuring safe transportation, and providing excellent customer service during the moving process. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

What we offer:

• Starting pay is $15/hr plus tips
• Raise opportunity at 30 and 90 days based on evaluation.
• Paid Training

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assists/helps with the pick-up (loading), transport, and delivery (unloading and placement) of household goods and commercial equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures
• Follows instructions from the crew leader and adheres to all company policies and safety rules
• Performs work within the specifications of the estimate of man hours.
• Must wear company provided uniform shirts and maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company and providing service to customers.
• Display professional and respectful conduct while performing work in the customer's home or office.
• Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on job site and in company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth moving process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in moving is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds with assistance) consistently throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license with experience driving box trucks or vans; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina for long hours of manual labor.
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Operations Schedule:

• Team Bible Study/meeting every Monday mornings.
• Moves are scheduled Monday- Saturdays (Sundays off)
• Must be available for periodic overnight moves.
• You can request to be available 5 or 6 days.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
