Retail Consultant / Graphic Designer

Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More specializes in custom designed t-shirts for anyone and everyone and we are looking for talented individuals to join our team. Here at Big Frog, we are part of the community, working with businesses, schools, and individuals, creating custom, personalized t-shirts (and polos, sweatshirts, tote bags, and more!). We are looking for people who have a customer focus—our staff works hard to make sure that all of our customers are happy, whether they want 1 shirt or 5000 shirts.

Since we help design many of our customers' shirts, to work here, the ideal candidate must be comfortable working with at least one of the following graphics programs: CorelDraw, Illustrator or Photoshop. Experience creating vector type artwork is preferred and a willingness to embrace various types of graphic design software programs with which you might not be currently familiar is a must.

Our store is small, and all of us work together. You will be expected to:
-- Manage and monitor daily retail operations per system procedures
-- Maintain a clean and neat retail environment
-- Manage customer transactions, which includes generating quotations and invoices, generating artwork, printing orders, and fulfilling orders on-time and per customer specifications
-- Manage customer correspondence such as phone, email, and in-store interaction
-- Manage incoming inventory, which includes unpacking boxes, checking packing slips, folding, and stocking shelves (you must be able to lift 40 pounds)
-- Complete other activities as needed

Our ideal candidate is someone who:
-- Likes talking with people and working out their ideas
-- Is artistically creative and has experience and knowledge of vector artwork and supporting software
-- Has worked in a retail environment for at least one year
-- Has experience as a key-holder
-- Is dependable and both deadline and detail-oriented
-- Is available to work some weekends and some holidays
-- Has good communication skills and a strong work ethic

REQUIREMENTS

• An outgoing and friendly personality (a "people person")
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Strong work ethic
• Experience with CorelDraw, Photoshop, or Illustrator a must
• Strong verbal/written skills, including proof-reading and math skills
• Neat, clean, dependable and drama free
• Able to lift 40 pounds
• Willing and able to work some weekends and some holidays
• Experience as a key holder (open/close/mgt responsibilities)

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
