Position: Floater Teacher **mandatory closing shift**
This position has growth opportunity. As a floater, teacher will act as assistant in classroom where teacher is out for the day and assist in daily routine/ activities. The ideal candidate for this position will meet all licensing requirements in addition to having a minimum of 2 years' experience working with children between the ages of 2 to 5 years. We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about children and interested in being a strong lead for a growing preschool program. Please note that this is a closing shift, and we cannot negotiate an earlier shift at this time.

Weekly Schedule:
Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)
Hours of Operation: 6:00am-6:00pm
Specific schedule will be discussed in interview
Reports to Center Director
Minimum Requirements:
An Associate's degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a supervised group Child Care Center
Preferred:
A AA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or Human Development
Currently hold a Child Development Teacher or Master Teacher Permit
Additional Requirements/Skills:
CPR/First Aid certification (may be obtained after hiring)
Health screening and Negative TB test results from a licensed physician
Proof of required immunizations: Pertussis, Measles & Influenza
Fingerprint clearance through DOJ/FBI
Ability to bend at the waist, sit/kneel on the floor, stand for periods of time and maneuver easily throughout the classroom when working with children
Ability to establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with parents, children, and other staff members
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
