Responsibilities
- Perform animal restraint and handling during examinations and procedures
- Assist with animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, and monitoring overall health
- Administer medications and perform animal catheterization under the direction of veterinarians
- Utilize knowledge of dog training techniques to assist in behavior management
- Provide support in veterinary critical care situations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary equipment and work areas
Experience
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician or relevant role
- Proficiency in animal care practices and procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology for animals is a plus
- Experience with equine care is desirable
