About the Position
The HR Generalist will provide comprehensive support across all core human resources functions, ensuring smooth HR operations and a positive employee experience. This role supports employee relations, benefits administration, payroll processing, performance management, training & development, recruitment, and compliance.
This position will be an essential partner in executing HR processes while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to HR best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and proactive, with strong knowledge across multiple HR disciplines.
In this role, you will
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing guidance and support on HR policies, workplace concerns, and general HR inquiries.
- Develop and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and internal procedures to align with legal requirements and best practices.
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Maintain and oversee HR documentation and records, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including enrollment, open enrollment processes, eligibility tracking, and claims resolution.
- Support the executive team by coordinating scheduling alignment, documenting key discussions, and tracking follow-ups on executive matters to ensure seamless communication and execution of priorities.
- Assist with leave of absence administration ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Lead payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee data, timekeeping records, and deductions.
- Support audits related to payroll, benefits, and labor law compliance.
- Coordinate the performance review process, ensuring deadlines are met and supporting documentation is maintained.
- Assist in the development and facilitation of employee training programs, including onboarding, compliance training, and professional development opportunities.
- Support leadership in performance improvement plans (PIPs) and coaching processes.
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and offer letter preparation.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, ensuring seamless and engaging employee experience.
- Develop and maintain employee orientation materials and support workforce engagement initiatives.
- Support the maintenance and accuracy of the HRIS system, ensuring employee records are up to date.
- Assist with HR data tracking and reporting, generating insights related to workforce trends.
- Identify process improvements to streamline HR workflows and increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations through regular audits and documentation updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in HR, with exposure to employee relations, benefits, performance management, training, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide HR support across various levels of the organization.
- Experience handling sensitive employee matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using HRIS platforms and other HR tools is preferred.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. Occasionally required to perform light physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, kneeling, or standing for prolonged periods while assisting with projects in the field.

Salary : $64,167 - $77,000
