Summary/Objective
The Brand Manager, Taproom Marketing will be responsible for the ongoing oversight of the Taproom Marketing Managers, location-specific marketing, communications, graphic design, and delivery of the Big Grove brand experience to guests and colleagues at our taproom. This role is tasked with connecting our colleagues and guests with overarching Big Grove brand priorities and is accountable for driving revenue by creating and managing marketing initiatives to get people in the door across all Big Grove locations.

The Brand Manager, Taproom Marketing is the centralized corporate resource with oversight of all marketing functions that extend across our taproom locations.
Brand Consistency and Coordination: This role will be responsible for coordination with the Director of Marketing, Art Director, and other internal departments to ensure brand consistency across creative and deliverables.
- Project Management: in order to ensure proper delivery of creative, communication, and deliverables this role will utilize project management tools for the submission, review, and departmental approval of aforementioned items.
- Budget & Fiscal Responsibility: ongoing oversight of location marketing spends, as well as brand marketing spend input. Use of accounting tools and processes to manage spend/budget overall and by respective team members/direct reports.
- LMA: Lead, Manage, Accountable. The Brand Manager, Taproom Marketing will be the corporate resource and a lead for the Taproom Marketing Managers while they ultimately report to respective Store Directors - additional direct reports or management of broader team resources may be required.
- Experience: Oversee the delivery of a best-in-class brand experience for our guests in our taprooms across all locations
- Revenue and Goal Delivery: Support the achievement of key revenue and margin targets while overseeing brand development in the taproom locations and across the team
- Oversight of Taproom Marketing includes but is not limited to the support of:
- Key brand alignment and support brand marketing initiatives
- Engagement of local organizations and business in support of sponsorships and partnerships that support taproom business
- Taproom and Local Market events
- Photography and video capture of events and taprooms
- Support of location-based social/digital platforms, and inbound customer messages and reviews.
- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Untappd, Constant Contact, Google My Business, Bing Places, Yelp for Business, Apple Business Connect, TripAdvisor and biggrove.com
- Influencer & Social Media Engagement
- Asset Design: work with internal departments (Design, Events, Social Media, etc) and external partners to create templates and assets for the Taproom teams to use across physical and digital assets.
- Brand Engagement & Education: Is a subject matter expert on Big Grove Brewery and its related products, brands, and services.
Other Brand Responsibilities: based on the nature of our business and each taproom location having its unique setup and identity, the needs of this role will vary over time and as new locations are created.

Yes. Resource for the Taproom Marketing Managers (who report directly to Store Directors/GM’s) with expected oversight of junior report(s) on the marketing team.

The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a dedicated full-time position and hours of work and days may vary from week to week. Hours expected to be worked are 40 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends are required to support special events, with the ability to adjust and flex hours to accommodate such events.
Location and Travel
Candidates must be local to the taproom area or within a short commute of the taproom, remote and/or relocation will not be considered. Travel may be expected occasionally in this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
Prior marketing and content management experience preferred
- 21 Years of Age (LDA)
- 7 years of experience in role of this type
- Fluent understanding of digital marketing to include social media platforms
- Beverage and/or CPG experience a plus
- Proven ability in design/video editing software (portfolio may be requested)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite
