What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/ Grocery Stocker position at Big Hollow Food Co-op?
Cashiers are responsible for operating the register, in addition to performing daily tasks which include stocking products, cleaning, and helping customers. We have a great customer service reputation and are looking for someone who is excited to join our team. In addition to cashier shifts, we also have two dedicated stocking shifts/ week (Tuesday & Friday morning). Primary roles of a grocery stocker are product rotation, attention-to-detail, and quality time spent on task. Big Hollow is a dynamic work environment that needs a dedicated staff member who is good at multitasking and can prioritize the stores needs on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for at least a 1 year commitment. We offer competitive wages, including paid vacation/ personal time, and continued opportunities for growth. Previous retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
We are specifically looking for someone with availability on Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning and Friday from 1030 - 230.
