Job Title: Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health support to youth under your care
- Offer childcare assistance and supervision to ensure a safe environment
- Assist in transporting youth to appointments and activities
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities to enhance their skills
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records
- Effectively communicate with youth, families, and team members
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes
- Collaborate with social workers and other professionals to support youth development
- Conduct data collection and maintain detailed reports
- Support special education programs as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in behavioral health or related field is preferred
- Ability to work with children and adolescents with diverse needs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficient in medication administration procedures
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Background in social work or related field is a plus
- Experience in data collection and report writing
- Understanding of special education practices
