High school diploma or equivalent. Must hold and maintain a current California State license Minimum of 2 years high end day spa or resort experience. Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations

Provide quality nail care services to members and their guests.
Job Tasks / Duties
Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service. Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices. Provide nail enhancement, example - acrylics, silks and / or gel builder Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa. Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training members and guests in these areas. Actively promote home care programs that coincide with spa retail sales. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures. Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or members and guests in the spa that require attention. Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and / or discounts available. Handle members and guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by members and guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction. Possess ability to work without direct supervision. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management. Requirements
Licenses and Special Requirements
Must have a State Nail Technician / Manicurist License. Knowledge of Acrylics and gel-nails. Pink and white acrylic is necessary. Physical Demands and Work Environment
Maintain cleanliness by using Sanitizer and / or Disinfectant products Ability to tolerate direct contact with disinfectants, sanitizers, and various cleaning solutions and / or products Close and distance vision Identify and distinguish colors Frequent walking with Continuous sitting or Standing Ability to lift 5 lbs. Occasionally lifts / carries up to 15 lbs. Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop or crouch repeatedly Frequent bending and stooping. Frequent repetitive motions. Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors including massage oils and lotions. Salary Description
