Position Overview : We are seeking a dynamic CNA to provide physical support and assist residents in performing daily living activities. We are looking for a compassionate advocate for residents and their families. As a CNA you will be responsible for supporting medical staff in administering care to patients.
Key Responsibilities : As the Certified Nursing Assistant, you will :
Provide help with bathing and grooming residents with low mobility.
Provide help eat and take medications.
Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages.
Prepare resident room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries.
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure residents' individualized care plans are implemented effectively, meeting both physical and emotional needs.
Transferring residents with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa.
Turning or adjusting residents in bed.
Qualifications : The ideal candidate for this position will have :
Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
First aid and CPR certifications.
In-depth understanding of resident care policies and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Physical strength and stamina.
Effective communication skills.
Good collaboration and teamwork skills.
Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
Keen attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with residents, families, staff.
