Position Overview: A Registered Nurse is a healthcare professional primarily responsible for providing direct care, which includes assessing patient health, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with doctors to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: As the registered nurse, you will:
Observe and record resident behavior, ensuring operational excellence and the highest standards of care.
Perform physical examinations.
Collect resident health history.
Counsel and educate while cultivating a positive and supportive workplace culture that prioritizes professional growth and collaboration.
Work closely with clinical staff to ensure residents' individualized care plans are implemented effectively, meeting both physical and emotional needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with residents’ families, addressing concerns with empathy and ensuring open lines of communication.
Administer medications, change would dressings and care for other treatment options
Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants and nurse aides.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Nursing license from the state of Wyoming.
Organization skills as you will often care for a number of residents at the same time.
Kind, compassionate, considerate, sympathetic, non-judgmental and be able to comfort residents.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with residents, families, staff, and the broader community.
A passion for providing compassionate, high-quality care to seniors.
