Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Water Park Manager to oversee the daily operations of our park. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and enhancing the overall enjoyment of visitors. The Assistant Water Park Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming environment while promoting recreational activities for all ages.
Duties
- Supervise and train park staff, ensuring high standards of guest services and hospitality.
- Manage cash handling processes, including ticket sales and food service transactions.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Organize and oversee events, activities, and programs within the park.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including lifeguard supervision when applicable.
- Collaborate with local organizations to enhance community engagement and promote park initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of park facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Provide public speaking presentations during events to engage visitors and promote park offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in guest services or customer service roles; hospitality experience is a plus.
- Computer skills including- Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc...
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations gracefully.
- Background in theater or public speaking is advantageous for engaging with guests effectively.
- Experience working with children in recreational settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations is beneficial for managing on-site dining options.
- Lifeguard certification is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification if required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Social Media is an important part of this position, must have skills with creating posts, interacting with our followers and creating a connection with our audience.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
