Job Function:
The Auction Operations Coordinator 1 works alongside the Sales Team and other BigIron departments to support the completion of auction listing details. This entry-level role involves assisting with basic auction listing tasks, ensuring accuracy, and providing customer support before and after auctions.
Essential Functions:
• Conduct basic lien searches using iLien software.
• Conduct Bankruptcy searches.
• Title and VIN search on states SOS and DMV sites.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of UCC filings and apply them to auction processes.
• Review, confirm and manage titles pre-auction for the assigned region.
• Proofread auction descriptions for accuracy, quality, grammar, spelling, and category placement.
• Maintain and update status changes for each listing agreement according to legal ownership.
• Review, accept, and publish listings and lots to the public website.
• Provide basic pre- and post-auction support to the Sales Team, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
• Maintain departmental reports and contribute to ongoing reporting improvements.
• Prioritize and manage workload to ensure deadlines and objectives are met effectively.
• Complete all required training and demonstrate expertise by implementing training in day-to-day tasks.
• Use sound judgment and discretion to review, research, and resolve issues, recommending process improvements when appropriate.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
