The Human Resource Advisor is important to BISAC’s success. Employees are our most important asset and the HR Advisor will be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives. Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of a complete HR.
Here is a list of some of the duties that an HR Advisor is responsible for:
- Manage the recruitment and selection process. Attend job fairs, post openings and network/outreach to recruit quality workers.
- Review and screen applications/resumes and forward to appropriate directors for interview selection.
- Process and onboard new hires.
- Maintain and ensure that employment requirements are being met and maintained.
- Assist and participate in various audits, reporting and credentialing processes as needed.
- Be available to answer questions from current, former and potential hires regarding various Human Resource questions.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the current Federal and State laws governing the issues of confidentiality and employment laws.
- Assist with all other duties as assigned by CEO and Director of Operations.
Work Experience:
- BA in Human Resources or Public Administration AND/OR
- Minimum 2 years experience in Personnel/Human Resources, with 2 years minimum of clerical experience, preferably in a human services non-profit agency.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
