Description
Assists the Global Sourcing Manager to identify, evaluate and approve suppliers. Provides support in supplier interaction and rationalization of the supplier matrix. Provides administrative support to include updating and maintaining Global Sourcing systems, tools and reports.

- Locates, gathers and researches information.
- Prepares various presentations, reports, queries and other documents.
- Participates in Sourcing, Agent and Supplier meetings.
- Understands and supports the objectives of the Global Sourcing Manager.
- Assists with data analysis and document preparation.
- Collaborates with and assists peers in providing administrative support including coordinating calendar for management and associates.
- Fields calls, emails and inquiries from agents and operations.
- Creates, maintains and analyzes documents and new supplier profiles, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Updates and maintains Global Sourcing systems, tools, and reports.
- Serves as liaison between Sourcing, Buyer, and Supplier to research and resolve issues.
- Performs competitive shopping and analysis as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- One to three years of retail experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills required.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and experience with word processing and email required.
- Strong analytical and methodical thinking skills required.
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment under general supervision required.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, procedures, and systems.
