What are the responsibilities and job description for the CardVault by Tom Brady Patriot Place - Break/Grading Support position at Big Night Entertainment Group?
As Break/Grading Support, a typical day might include the following
- Providing sorting and shipping support during and after each break
- Sorting cards based on rarity, value, team, and type, and categorize them for ease of access during sales
- Ensuring each group break and stream is properly labeled and organized in the sorting area after each live stream to then be shipped out to customers
- Assisting with cleaning and organizing the breaking area after live streams and resetting the area for upcoming broadcasts
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, values, and demands in the sports card market to decide which cards to prioritize and sell
- Working alongside team members during live broadcasts for added entertainment value
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- A general comprehensive knowledge of and/or passion for trading cards desired
- Minimum of one-year of similar or industry-related experience is preferred
- High school Diploma/GED desired
- Familiarity with shipping systems such as UPS, USPS, FedEx is a plus
- Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
- Must have the ability to meet or exceed sales, guest service standards
- Must be comfortable working and speaking with the public
- Must have basic computer skills
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays required
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and ability lift/carry up to 30 lbs required
- Clear understanding of retail metrics including key performance indicators necessary to drive sales
