What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grace by Nia Foxwoods - Server position at Big Night Entertainment Group?
As a Server, a typical day might include the following:
- Greeting guests joining us with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
- Attending to guests and taking food and/or beverage orders
- Ensuring guests' orders are accurate and served in a timely manner
- Anticipating guest needs and fulfilling them
- Preparing guest checks and collecting accurate payment
- Resolving any service issues that arise with empathy and according to guidelines
- Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervening when needed according to all company guidelines
- Promoting Big Night Entertainment Group in a positive and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean and well stocked work environment
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year direct serving experience in a fast-paced bar/restaurant required
- TIPS Certification a plus and will be required if chosen for the position
- A neat and professional appearance
- Efficient and accurate communication skills
- Ability to build guest loyalty with an outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Excellent memory and ability to multitask
- Work schedule flexibility with night, weekend and holiday availability
- A positive attitude and aptitude to handle high-volume environments

- May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques and withstand long hours on your feet in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Non-typical hours will be customary including evenings, weekends, and holidays. For this part-time position, Friday and Saturdays are an absolute must
