Responsibilities of an   Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator MDS :

  • Coordinate processes related to the assessment and care planning of patients or residents.
  • Scheduling regular assessments for patients, asking patients to report on how they feel.
  • Provide regular reports to doctors and other medical professionals, and billing.
  • Work with the Medical Decision Support (MDS) system to ensure diseases and conditions are treated in the best possible way.

    • Qualifications for an  Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator - MDS :

  • Valid New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 1-year experience as an RNAC preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance
