About the Role

Big Red Group (BRG) is at the forefront of redefining experiences through technology. We are evolving into a platform-focused business, uniting our Engineering, Product, Data & Martech, and Infrastructure teams to drive customer value and growth.

As part of the unified Data & Martech team, you'll design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines on our modern cloud stack, seamlessly integrating diverse data sources. You’ll integrate data from diverse source systems and transform it into valuable assets that will then be used for consumption by end-user stakeholders and applications.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with end-to-end data – you’ll have the chance to take ownership over your own projects, collaborate with a diverse range of teams, and drive impact through progress. Your expertise will unlock the full potential of our Martech stack, ensuring data integrity, best practices, and strong governance, driving measurable growth and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable data pipelines: Design and implement efficient data workflows, ensuring data is readily available for analysis.
• Integrate diverse data sources: Work with a variety of systems and datasets, bringing together information from across the business.
• Ensure data quality and reliability: Implement data governance practices to maintain the integrity of our data assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with the analytics team, engineering, finance, marketing and product to understand their data needs and ship features.
• Work closely with Software Engineers: Design efficient data contracts, ensuring the requirements of end-users and applications are met with reliable datasets.
• Contribute to innovation: Explore and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance our data infrastructure.

Experience and Skills Required

• Proficiency with data modelling in SQL/ Python
• Cloud Computing Experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Data Warehouse Experience (Redshift, Databricks or Snowflake)
• Experience with ELT/ETL experience including DBT and Airflow
• A growth mindset with comfort in working within a fast-paced environment, navigating ambiguity when necessary
