Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and food production processes.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food quality and safety.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation or culinary roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a kitchen environment.
