What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vehicle Title Clerk position at Big Rig Lending, LLC?

Big Rig Lending, LLC , an online marketplace lender specializing in commercial vehicle lending with nationwide coverage, currently seeks experienced Title and Compliance Specialist. Ideal candidates will have experience in a tag and title office, placing liens, and researching state specific requirements in line with our Corporate Purpose and Guiding Principles in an innovative, inside sales environment. This is an in person, on site position in Dalton, GA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Process all new loan title work ensuring company is placed as lien holder.
Examine vehicle title for accuracy and conformity to specified requirements.
Maintain strict compliance with all title laws and filing requirements
Confirm accurate title VIN number, odometer reading, releases of liens, and that titles contain no alteration, etc.
Research and document all lien placing procedures for all states based on state, local, municipal and / or other statutes and regulations.
Contact respective agencies by telephone, email and / or mail to solicit information.
Handle all title work for payoff, Insurance claims, repossession sales and charge offs.
Assist Underwriting with New Loan Approvals and Closings.
Assist with internal auditing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years in dealer and / or DMV title department, tag agency, compliance, administrative quality control or similar experience

Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills

Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products including Outlook email and point of sale systems

Ability to interact effectively primarily over the telephone and through email

Attention to detail and exceptional prioritizing and organizations skills

Strong interpersonal, active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Bilingual in Spanish / English preferred
