Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling various types of vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with hand and power tools. The Dismantler will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components are properly removed, sorted, and prepared for resale or recycling.

Duties

• Disassemble vehicles and machinery using hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect parts for damage or wear, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Sort and categorize components for inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety.
• Collaborate with team members to improve dismantling processes and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating tools and equipment.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance, demonstrating an understanding of automotive systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to identify parts and their functions accurately.
• Familiarity with using an ohmmeter for electrical testing purposes.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
